Rachel Mumford

Meet Rachel.

Rachel is a business events executive at VisitAberdeenshire and works within the Aberdeen Convention Bureau. Rachel’s role is to be an advocate for Aberdeen and to promote the city and its surrounding areas to secure new international and national conferences, meetings, events, and incentive groups.

Rachel graduated from the University of Huddersfield with a BA (Hons) in Advertising and Marketing Communications. Before joining VisitAberdeenshire, Rachel completed a 6-month internship at a PR and marketing agency in Aberdeen.

Here’s three things you might not know about Rachel:

• Some of Rachel’s favourite things to do in Aberdeen include relaxing walks around Stonehaven, retail shopping in Union Square, and visiting animals at Hazlehead Park.
• Her favourite part of the job is being able to constantly learn more about Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
• Rachel is originally from Nottingham, England. And made her big move to Aberdeen in May 2023.
