Framework for growth

A bold plan for tourism growth has been launched to help the north-east thrive despite a challenging operating environment. Commissioned by VisitAberdeenshire and supported by Scottish Enterprise, the Framework for Growth reviews the achievements of the 2018 strategy and identifies future trends and opportunities through to 2030.

The ambition is for the north-east to lead Scotland in tourism growth, encouraging visitors to stay longer, spend more, and experience high-quality, innovative offerings. Developed through extensive consultation with private and public sectors, the framework provides a focus for investment, innovation, and collaboration across the region’s visitor economy.
