Adrian Watson is the Chief Executive Officer of Aberdeen Inspired, the city centre business improvement district (BID) representing some 700 levy-paying businesses. The BID delivers on a wide range of initiatives including the globally acclaimed Nuart (Aberdeen) International Street Art Festival, named one of the top six by the Financial Times. It also delivers Aberdeen Restaurant Week, the Aberdeen International Comedy Festival, and introduced Scotland's first city centre night-time economy strategy. Under his leadership, the Aberdeen Gift Card became the best-selling card of its kind across the UK and Ireland in 2024. Adrian is a Fellow of the Institute of Place Management, a Director of Scotland’s Towns Partnership, and the National Chair for Scotland of the Association of Town & City Management. He holds a BSc (Hons), MSc, and MBA from Robert Gordon University.
