Mike trained as a geologist, and moved to Aberdeen 12 years ago to work in oil and gas . He was immediately captured by the natural and built environment of the northeast of Scotland. He started training as an outdoor leader and MTB guide in 2015, and in 2019 started as a professional mountain bike guide, Since then, he has developed a small business working with holiday companies, hotels, shops and private clients. This year he has hosted approximately 200 guests and ridden over 2000 miles with them.
