Opinions on tourism and hospitality trade during the last quarter sought in latest Business Monitor survey

VisitAberdeenshire’s latest Quarterly Business Monitor is now live, a survey that requires the input of tourism and hospitality businesses to help understand current trading conditions.

Launched two years ago, the Quarterly Business Monitor is a temperature check for the sector and provides an opportunity for businesses to share thoughts and to look ahead to the run up to the Christmas season.

This wave also contains set of skills-related questions, co-designed and included in the survey on behalf of Skills Development Scotland. These are on the themes of recruitment and retention, as well as challenges and solutions available to businesses.

The anonymous survey takes minutes to complete, and the results will generate a shareable report that will contain useful information relating to enquiries and bookings.

Chris Foy, CEO, VisitAberdeenshire, said: “We are looking at what is affecting trade in the coming months and a looking back at traditionally, one of the busiest periods in the year.

“The results help us to plot any emerging trends locally, and can inform our work, and the work of others. The more businesses that take part, the fuller and more accurate picture we will have.”

The survey closes on Monday 9 October at 8pm. Complete the survey here: https://www.surveyhero.com/c/QBMOct2023
