Join our series of sensory awareness webinars with North East Sensory Services, a practical guide designed to help tourism and hospitality businesses build confidence in welcoming all customers. Discover the small changes that you can easily implement to engage with customers at each stage of their journey and feel empowered in your ability to provide an inclusive experience.  

This two-hour webinar will introduce you to deafness and hearing loss. You will find out about the different degrees of deafness and the impact this has on communication, what sign language is and who uses it, the different barriers that people with deafness experience day to day, and what you can do to make sure that people who are Deaf or hard of hearing feel included and involved in the services that you provide.
