That’s why VisitAberdeenshire develops and delivers a range of programmes to support businesses at different stages of their journey. From developing new visitor experiences and reaching new markets to strengthening your digital presence or building your understanding of the visitor economy, our programmes are designed to provide practical, useful support that you can put into action.
Support designed around your business
Our programmes vary depending on the needs of the businesses taking part. Support can include workshops, webinars, one-to-one coaching, expert advice, tools and templates, as well as opportunities to learn from other businesses and share experiences.
We work with industry partners and organisations across the region to bring relevant expertise and insight into our programmes, helping businesses understand not just what visitors are looking for, but how they can respond to those expectations.
Some programmes are fully funded, while others may have different eligibility criteria or requirements. Each programme page will provide full details, including who can apply, what’s involved and how to get started.

Create a bookable food & drink experience
We’re inviting 12 food and drink producers from across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire to take part in a fully funded programme designed to help create or develop bookable visitor experiences.
Whether you’re thinking about opening your doors to visitors for the first time or already offer an experience and want to develop it further, the programme will provide practical support covering everything from understanding the visitor market and developing your experience to pricing, booking systems, storytelling, routes to market, legislation and health and safety.
