Food and Drink Support Programme
VisitAberdeenshire is seeking quotes from suitably skilled and experienced consultants to support the delivery of a new Food and Drink Business Support Programme for Aberdeenshire producers.
This pilot programme will support local food and drink businesses to develop their confidence, knowledge and capability in creating or enhancing visitor experiences that can be offered as bookable, year-round experiences.
We are looking for consultants who can bring expertise in business development, visitor experience creation and marketing to deliver elements of, or the full programme. Delivery is expected to include a blend of in-person workshops, online webinars, 1-to-1 coaching sessions and practical tasks to support participating businesses throughout their development journey.
The programme will focus on two key areas:
1. Business Diagnostic & Planning
Supporting businesses to understand their current position, identify opportunities for growth, use insights and market trends, and develop or update business plans.
2. Creating a Year-Round Visitor Experience
Helping businesses develop compelling visitor experiences through product development, pricing, storytelling, routes to market, B2B and B2C opportunities, and online bookability.
VisitAberdeenshire will deliver the travel trade marketing element of the programme using in-house expertise, with the appointed consultant(s) working alongside the team to ensure this integrates effectively. Support from relevant partners, including an Environmental Health briefing from Aberdeenshire Council, will also form part of the wider programme.
Consultants are invited to quote for individual elements of the programme or the full delivery package.
