September 2026 Newsletter

The latest news, insights and updates for tourism and hospitality businesses across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire

We head into the autumn with our latest UK campaign live, promoting experiences that resonate with our target audiences: heritage, culture, autumnal walks and bike rides, and of course wonderful food and drink. At November's tourism conference - in partnership with Aberdeen International Airport - an extensive and engaging programme will include expert panel who will lift the hood on what goes on when the Rally Scotland comes to the North-east in 2027, and how it can support the visitor economy. Booking details below.

An intense blast of travel trade activity over the next two months will see the region represented at major trade events covering inbound tourism, and specifically the cruise and golf sectors. Meantime, we're taking the initiative to attract high value incentive travel buyers to the North-east early in the winter. More on all of these to come.

Finding routes to market through travel trade intermediaries

The travel trade is often thought about for the group market only, but in fact the sector is also used extensively for small group, individual and luxury travel. If you're looking for ways to expand your customer base in specific markets, working with the travel trade can help connect you with the right audience.

Access our updated toolkit and discover how working with the travel trade can unlock new markets, boost your business and encourage visitors to spend longer exploring the region.
