Meet Kayleigh.

Kayleigh is VisitAberdeenshire’s Tourism Development Manager. The Tourism development team work with local tourism and hospitality businesses to help them develop and grow their offerings to meet the ever-changing customer demand. They do this through a series of webinars and workshops, known as the Tourism Development Programme, through the Tourism ‘Game Changer’ Business Growth Programme, by hosting one to one product advice meetings and through industry engagement methods such as networking meetings and industry communications.

Kayleigh has over 12 years’ experience of working in various roles within the events industry and was Tourism Development Executive at VisitAberdeenshire prior to becoming Manager.

Here are three things you might not know about Kayleigh:

• Kayleigh loves to explore Aberdeenshire’s countryside with her dog, Poppy, who she is completely obsessed with.
• Her favourite part of the job is working with the team to organise and deliver the various development programmes and playing a part in shining the light on all that there is to see and do in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
• Since the start of the Northern Nights campaign and helping businesses to discover Dark Sky Tourism, Kayleigh has developed a new love for ‘looking up’ at night, using the apps to look at constellations and going ‘aurora hunting’.
